Woody McHale's is owned and operated by the partners in Franks Restaurant, which has been serving great steaks in the Meat Packing District since 1912.

 Woody McHale's is a Tavern in the true sense, mixing the old Saloon/Speakeasy feel with the modern lounge, and was painstakingly and meticulously hand built by Nathan Kipperman. Our Executive Chef, Segundo Juca comes to us from Pastis, where he worked under Head Chef, Sasha Leon for over 5 years. Our Consulting Executive Chef, Chris Molinari, has been featured on the Food Network, and is the Head Chef at our sister restaurant Frank's, so you can be assured of our dedication to quality and consistency. 

Our menu was designed and created to serve top quality American Tavern/Pub food in a comfortable and relaxing setting. All of our meat is cut fresh daily from our own butcher shop at Franks, and all of our ingredients are of the finest quality.
